Video Screen Recorder

Videos are digitally recorded presentations of events created using a webcam or video recorder and delivered on a video sharing site such as Youtube, Brainshark or SlideShare.
Screen Capture
Screen capture are recorded images of a computer screen which can be inserted into presentations or rapid e-learning. This image was created with Snagit which is a fee-based software application that allows you to record scrolling objects on your screen such as drop down menus. Ping is a great free screen capture application, but it does not allow you to record drop down menus.
Podcast
A podcast is a digital audio recording of some type of instruction that can be played directly from a website or downloaded to a digital audio playing device. You will also need to have a media player(software) installed on your audio playback device such as Windows Media Player, Real Player, or Apple Quicktime. Podcasts can be recorded using audio recording software, such as Audacity, and a microphone. The programs are generally free depending on the operating system you have installed on your computer. Audacity is an excellent free audio recording and editing software program. You can learn more about Audacity and how to use it on the Sourcenet website.
