Familiarize yourself with some e-learning terms. Click here for the E-learning Glossary or watch a short video called “Making sense of e-learning”. Learn about the difference between rapid e-learning and custom e-learning. Learn about the levels of e-learning content so you have an idea of what is possible. |
| 2. | Download all of the suggested free software in the e-learning developer beginner’s starter kit and start playing with the tools. |
| 3. | Take some tutorials to learn how to build e-learning. Click here for E-learning Tutorials. |
| 4. | Learn about instructional design. Click here for some great tutorials on rapid e-learning instructional design from Kineo (an e-learning development provider). It’s free, but a short registration is required. I would suggest skipping the first tutorial “60 Minute Masters Introduction” and starting with Module 1 – Prepare. Click here for a good article on the subject of instructional design. |
